ALBUS is a comic chamber opera about the lutenist Silvius Leopold Weiss, a contemporary of J.S. Bach.
Stefan Olof Lundgren, composed the opera in 2000 to honor the 250th anniversary of Weiss's death in 1750.

Now a new edition of the work has been produced to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the premiere
of the oper ALBUS in Dresden in 2000.

Only four singers and four instrumentalists are needed to perform this ninety-minute work in nine scenes.

The edition consists of a score in A3 and eight part books in A4 as well as a booklet
with the libretto by Frank Legl in German.
